For and in consideration of the sum of one hundred and forty dollars to me in hand paid by D.A. Outlaw on the 12^th of this month. I Samuel Davis of County and State aforesaid do hereby transfer and convey unto Messers Green and Outlaw of Oktibbeha County Mississippi the following property to wit: the southeast quarter of section No. twenty six, township no. eighteen, Range no. thirteen east all lying and being in said County of Oktibbeha Mississippi. And I hereby warrant and defend the title to said land against the claims of all persons claiming the same under by or through me or lawful claims of other persons whatever. In testimony whereof I have hereunto I have set my hand and affixed my seal this 28^th day of February A.D. 1856.
