L. B. Curtis Dies Popular and _____ Citizen of Calhoun City Buried at Noxapater. Calhoun City, Miss., Dec. 29, 1970 L. B. Curtis, Popular banker, church worker, and fraternity man of this city, died at Houston Hospital last night as the result of complications following an operation. The body was carried to Noxapater, Miss., accompanied by anumber of his fraternal brethren from this city where hte funeral and interment were held today. Mr. Curtis had been cashier of the Calhoun County Bank here for a number of years. He was the chancellor commander of the local K. Of P. Lodge, mater-elect for the local Masonic Lodge and a member of the Wahabi Temple Shrine of Jackson, Miss. He has served as superintendent of the Methodist Sunday School for several years here. He was a very find man, a citizen of the best type, a man of honor, integrity and splendid business ability. His deeds of charity, kindness and benevolence have made for him legions of friends wherever he has lived--Eupora, Ackerman, this city and other points. He is survived by a wife and two sons, L.
