Earl P. Foreman Sr. WEST POINT - Earl Presley Foreman Sr., 79, died Oct. 6, 2006, at his residence. Graveside services will be Monday at 10 a.m. at Bethesda Cemetery in Crawford with Dr. James Towery officiating. Visitation is today from 5 to 8 p.m. at Calvert Funeral Home in West Point. Mr. Foreman was born July 10, 1927, in Columbus to the late Lorene Elizabeth Wright Foreman and William Presley Foreman. He retired from Bryan Foods as a mechanic. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force and was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Ruben Charles Foreman; and sister, Mary Acker. He is survived by his wife, Hilda Peterson Foreman of West Point; daughter, Gail Butt of West Point; son, Earl P. Foreman Jr. of West Point; sisters, Lorene Flippen and Brenda Foreman, both of West Point, and Linda Callahan of Weir; brothers, Thomas Foreman of Macon, Luthern Foreman of Columbus, Arthur Foreman of Senatobia and Danny Foreman of Olathe, Kan.; three grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. Odie Hill, Kenny Dill, Laddie Huffman, James Watson, James Flippen and Henry Acker will serve as pallbearers. Memorials may be made to Calvary Baptist Church, 460 McCord St., West Point, MS 39773.
