Former Circuit Clerk Dies

Former Oktibbeha County circuit clerk William Maurice Henry died  Sunday
night at his residence.  He was 77.

Funeral services will be held today at 11:00 a m from the chapel at
Welch Funeral Home with the Rev. L J. Brewer and the Rev. S. E. O'Brian
Jr. officiating.  Burial will be in Oddfellows Cemetery.

A lifelong resident of Oktibbeha County, Mr. Henry retired in 1971 after
serving as circuit clerk for 20 years.  He was a member of the
Meadowview Baptist church.

He leaves his wife, Mrs. Stella O'Brian Henry of Starkville, and one
sister, Mrs. Mamie Hull of Starkville.
Memorials may be made to the Meadowview Baptist Church Building Fund.

Welch Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Maurice died 11 Nov. 1977
