Services for Hester Set

Joseph Guy Hester, retired entomologist at Miss. State University,
died Sunday at his home on Whitfield Street at the age of 81.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. today from the First Baptist
Church, with the pastor, Dr. D. C. Applegate officiating.  Burial will
be in the Fort Gibson National Cemetery at Muskogee, Oklahoma
Thursday.

Mr. Hester is survived by his wife, Mrs. Blanche A. Butts Hester
of Starkville; two sons, Dr. Joe S. Hester and Dr. Thomas H. Hester,
both of Muskogee; two brothers V. V. Hester of Mathiston and T. A.
Hester of Shelby; two sisters, Mrs. S. N. Ellis and Mrs. H. M. Brooks,
both of Mathiston and five grandchildren.

Welch Funeral Home will be in charge of arrangements.
