MR. KEAN DIES AT 96 Died 01/1970 A longtime Oktibbeha County resident, J. C. Kean Sr., died yesterday morning at his home in Sessums at the age of 96. Services will be this morning at 10 o’clock at the First Pres- byterian Church. The Rev. Perry Biddle will officiate, and burial will be in Oddfellows Cemetery. Welch Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. The elders and deacons of the church will be honorary pall- bearers. Mr. Kean, a native of Ontario, Canada, was a retired dairy farmer. He came to Mississippi A & M in 1910 to join the staff of the experiment station. He be- gan his dairy farming in Ses- sums several years later with registered Jersey cattle.
