10-15-1963 Langford Rites Monday Services for Mrs. R. M. Langford, former resident of Osborn Community, were held from Osborn Presbyterian Church Monday afternoon at two o'clock. Dr. J. Kelly Unger, pastor of the First Presbyterian Church of Meridian and Dr. Fred W. Neal of Southwestern University at Memphis, officated. Burial was in Odd Fellows Cemetery. Mrs. Langford, who was 103 on August 14, died Sunday at Coahoma County Hospital in Clarkdsdale where whe had been a patient for four days. She was born near Livingston, Ala in 1860. Some years ago her family moved to Hickory Grove Community and then bought a home in Osborn. They had resided here for 15 years. Despite her age, Mrs. Langford was active until her last illness. She was a Presbyterian. She is survived by two step daughters, Mrs. George Pearson of Dekalb, Texas and Mrs. Bent Caffey of Clarksdale.
