Starkville News dated June 20, 1943 Funeral Held for Frank Lemmons Heart Attack is Fatal to Resident of Starkville; 63 Years of Age Frank Lemmons, age 63, died at his home Monday morning following a heart attack. He was ill three weeks. Mr. Lemmons was reared in Oktibbeha County and served as depot agent in Osborn for several years. Later he was employed as manager of the Starkville Ice Plant, holding that position for twenty years. He was most recently engaged in the cafe business. He was a member of the Presbyterian Church. Funeral services were held Wednesday morning from the Presbyterian Church, conducted by the Rev. J. C. Frist, pastor. Burial was in Odd Fellows cemetery. Mr. Lemmons is survived by his wife, six daughters, Mrs. Britt Oswalt, Mrs. L. A. Hagemeyer, Miss Pauline Lemmons, Miss Sarah Lemmons, Miss Ruth Lemmons and Bobbie Grace Lemmons; one son, Private J. T. Lemmons; one sister, and six brothers; three uncles; and three grandchildren, Jessie Clara Hagemeyer, Florence Josephine Hagemeyer and Sarah Jacqueline Hagemeyer.
