Dr. E. C. Lucas Dies at Home in Holmes County

The many friends of Mr. Jas. L. Lucas, a life long citizen
of Starkville, but now residing in Louisville, Winston County,
deeply sympathize with him on the loss of his brother, Dr.
E. C. Lucas, who died at his home in Ebenezer, Holmes
County.  Dr. Lucas had been practicing medicine at Ebenezer
for a half century and was one of Holmes County's most
prominent physicians and beloved citizens.  He was 71
years old and Starkville was his boyhood home.
