McClelland Rites Held (died 02/14/1970 ) Funeral services for Mrs. Martha Green McClelland, who died Saturday at the home of her son, J. O. McClelland, at 113 Josey Avenue, in Starkville, were held at 2 p.m. Sunday from Meadowview Baptist Church. Burial followed in the Pleasant Ridge Cemetery in Bradley. Mrs. McClelland, who was 85, was a native of Oktibbeha County, and a member of Meadowview Baptist Church. The Rev. Douglas Dexter, pastor of the church, officiated at the services. In addition to her son, she is also survived by a daughter, Mrs. S. L. Cagle of Starkville; seven brothers, John Roy Green, Odie Green, Sam Green, Victor Green and T ruly Green, all of California, Claude Green of Hot Springs, Ark., and Arthur Green of Guthrie, Okla.; eight sisters, Mrs. Cecilia Newland of Garden Grove, Calif.; Mrs. Myrtle Schinks, of Herrington Beach, Calif,; Mrs. Peggy McAtee, of Yucaipa, Calif.; Mrs. Pearl McKinnis of Oklahoma City, Mrs. Arthur Hamill of Bradford, Ark., Mrs. Virgie Upchurch of Moorehead, Mrs. Eva Vickers of Sturgis, and Mrs. Clara Heflin of Artesia, and a granddaughter, Miss Linda Hinkle of Starkville.
