McCormick Rites Today  [04/05/1905-02/17/1970]

Funeral services for Walter Thomas McCormick, a dairyman of Route 3,
Starkville, will be held at 10 a.m. today at the chapel of Welch Funeral Home.

Burial will be in Odd Fellows Cemetery.  The Rev. Jim Vance and the Rev.
J. C. Hawthorne will officiate.

Mr. McCormick, who was 6_, died Tuesday morning at Felix Long Memorial
Hospital after a lengthy illness.  He was a member of the Adaton Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife Mrs. Tommy Gregg McCormick of Starkville, six 
daughters, Mrs. Joe Bright, Mrs. Lee Petty, Jr., Mrs. Merritt Reed, Mrs. Phil
Millwood and Mrs. Gerald Ishee, all of Starkville, and Mrs. Edward McCoy of
Jackson; ten grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
