Rites Held for County Resident

Mrs. Dicie McIlwain was Buried in Chestnut Log Cemetery

Funeral services were held on Friday, May 24, for Mrs. Dicie McIlwain,
who died in Oktibbeha Hospital on May 23.  she was 72.

The Rev. Mr. Kitchens conducted the services which were followed by 
burial in Chestnut Log Cemetery.

Mrs. McIlwain was a life-long resident of Oktibbeha County.  She is
survived by three sons, Nanly West McIlwain, West Helena, Ark; Williams
McIlwains and Dan McIlwain, Self Creek; three daughters, Mrs. Connie
Fulgham, Mathiston, Miss Mattie Pearl McIlwain, and Miss Ina Oswalt
McIlwain, Self Creek; two brothers, John Phelps, Mathiston and Joe Phelps
self Creek; and a sister Mrs. Mallie Gregg, Maben.
