Funeral services for Polly R. “Sis” 
McKenzie will be held at 2 p.m. today at 
Welch Funeral Home chapel. Burial will be 
in the Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery. 
The Rev. Ralph Windle will officiate.
Visitation was held from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday at 
Welch Funeral Home, which is handling the arrangements.

Mrs. McKenzie died Friday, Oct. 6, 2006, at her home in 
Sturgis. She was 80. A Houston native, she was a member 
of Antioch Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband, Thomas, McKenzie of
Sturgis; 
one daughter, Diann Allen of Louisville; 
three sons, George McKenzie of Sturgis, Mickey 
McKenzie of Milport, Ala., and Todd McKenzie of 
Columbus; 
one sister, Jimmie Homans of Milport, Ala.; 
and seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers include Steve Allan, Jeff Allan, 
Dewayne McKenzie, John McKenzie, 
Michael McKenzie and Brad Logan. 

Honorary pallbearers include Loy McKenzie.
