Starkville News 4-23-1943 Rites Held for Mrs. Flay McMinn Prominent Oktibbeha Matron was Charter Member of Self Creek Church Funeral services for Mrs. Flay McMinn, who died April 7 at her home in the Self Creek community after a six weeks illness, were held from the Self Creek Baptist Church conducted by the Rev. Mullins of Starkville. Burial was in the cemetery there. Mrs. McMinn wasone of the most prominent women in her section of the county and was a charger member of the Self Creek Baptist Church. She is survived by a sister Mrs. Mattie McKee, two daughters, Mrs. Joe Donald of Isola and Mrs. V. E. Hendricks of Sturgis, and eleven grandchildren. Pallbearers were W. D. Hendricks, D. L. James, O.
