Mrs. Mims Rites Set (02-04-1961) Services for Mrs. Lacy D. Mims who died at her home Saturday night, will be held this morning at 10:30 at Margin Funeral Home with the Rev. Glenn Miller, of the First Methodist Church and Rev. Robert Walkup of the First Presbyterian Church officiating. Burial will be in Oddfellows Cemetery. Mrs. Mims, affectionately known as "Miss Emma" during her many years as an employe of the grocery firm of Reed and Lewis, died suddenly following a heart attack. Born in Coaling, Ala., in 1891, she was the daughter of T. J. and Willie Boles. Mrs. Mims was graduated from Tuscaloosa High School and in 1939 married Lacy Mims of Starkville, where she had been a resident since 1914. She leaves her husband, Lacy D. Mims, and one son, Thomas S. Bell, both of Starkville; two step-sons, L. D. Mims, Jr., of El Dorado, Ark., and James Mims of Starkville; two sisters, Mrs. E. J. Palmer of Northport, Ala., and Mrs. E. F. Friar of Nashville, Tenn; two brothers, Leland Boles of Birmingham, Ala., and Aaron Boles of Calera, Ala. Active pallbearers will be Billy McIntyre of Columbus, Marvin Critz, Billups Allen, Earl Atkinson, Robert Ogden, Frank Meigs, Charlie Aycock, Frank Jackson. Honorary are W. B.
