James Dee Oliver

Services for James Dee Oliver, 73, will be at 11:00 
Saturday morning at the chapel of Welch Funeral Home.

Burial will follow at New Hope Cemetery, with Rev.
Mickey Ferguson Officiating.

Mr. Oliver died Wednesday afternoon at Oktibbeha
Hospital.  He was a retired county employee and a
Baptist.  Mr. Oliver was born in Choctaw County
but lived in Oktibbeha County most of his life.

He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Claudie Mae Buford
Oliver of Starkville, a daughter, Mrs. Mary A. Hodnett
Johnson of Starkville; three sons, Rupert Hodnett and
Samuel Hodnett of Buena Park, California, and Elliott
Hodnett of Starkville; eight grandchildren and six great 
grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association.
Welch Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
