Joe Ruford Petty, 78, retired farmer, died Thursday at
Golden Triangle Regional Medical Center in Columbus.  Services at 10:00
a m today at Welch Funeral Home; burial in Adaton Cemetery.  He leaves
his wife. Mrs. Beulah Langford Petty; a daughter, Mrs. Josephine Teasley
of Columbus, Ms. a son, Joe David Petty of Tupelo and a brother John L
Petty of Starkville. He died 12 Jan. 1978.
