Mrs. Petty Rites Today

Funeral Services for Mrs. Zimena Horton Petty, age 92, who passed away at 
Lowndes County General Hospital in Columbus  after a lengthy illness 
Wednesday, will be held today at three o'xlock from Welch
Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. JImmy Horton and Rev. Alvin Sanderford 
will be in charge of
services.  

Burial will be in Double Springs Cemetery. Born in Choctaw County in 1881, 
she was member of the Adaton Baptist church.

Survivors include three sons, Joe R. Petty, John L. Petty,  and Shed H.
Petty, all of Starkville one brother, Henry Dale Horton,New Edenburg,
Ark., two sisters, Mrs.  Jennie Belle Eubanks, Pine Ridge, Ark, and Mrs.
W. P Reese of Memphis, Tenn., nine grandchildren, 11 great
grandchildren, and one great great grandchild.
