Mrs. Minnie Lee Pope

Funeral services for Mrs. Minne Lee Pope, 87, were held May 2 at the
Adaton Methodist Church at 2:00 p.m. with the Rev. Maston Prewitt and
Rev. J. L.McElroy officiating.

Mrs. Pope passed away May 19 at her home after an eight weeks illness.
She was born in Oktibbeha County January 15, 1871.  She was married to
the late John H. Pope.

She is survived by three sons, John F. Pope of Starkville, Ames Pope of
Belzoni, and Walter Pope of West Point: eight grandchildren: six great
grandchildren: one great great grandchild: and one sister, Miss Queenie
Henry of Oktibbeha County.

Pallbearers were Cullen Gammill, A L. Reeves, Horace Hendricks, John L.
Christopher, W W Yeates, and Robert Christopher.

Barry Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
