10-12-1956 Mr. John Lee Price Sevices for John Lee Price, farmer of the Adaton Community, were held at the Adaton Methodist Church at 2 Tuesday afternoon with Rev. C. L. Miller of Sturgis and Rev. J. L. McElroy of Longview officiating. Burial was in the Adaton Cemetery, with the Barry Funeral Home in charge. Mr. Price, who was 76, died in his home Sunday. He had been in poor health for three years. He was born in Okltibbeha County and lived here all his life. In 1900 he married Mildred Yeates, also of this county, now deceased. He belonged to the Adaton Methodist Church. He leaves a daughter, Mrs. John L. Petty of Adaton: two sons, Willie Lee Price of Columbus, and Lawrence Price of Adaton: three sisters, Mrs. E. Rudisill of College Park, GA, Mrs Ed Rodenberg of Knisley, Ala, and Mrs. Wilkes Ruffin of Goulds, Florida; seven grandchildren and on great grandchild.
