Quinn Rites Set Today
Died 12/1974

Funeral services for Mack Dowell Quinn of Rt. 1, Sturgis, will be
held today at 2:00 p.m. at the Big Creek Methodist Church with the
Rev. Ferrell Mills and the Rev. Phil Gillis officiating.  Burial will be 
in Big Creek Cemetery.

A lfielong resident of Oktibbeha County, Mr. Quinn, 67, died early
Wednesday at Oktibbeha County Hospital.  A retired electrician, he
was a member of the Big Creek Methodist Church.

He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Willie Hynum Quinn of Sturgis; one
son, Mack Quinn, Jr., of Baton Rouge, La; one daughter, Mrs. Ethlene
Quinn Shurden of Starkville; four grandsons; and seven stepchildren,
Clarence Wilson of Coldwater, Jack Wilson of Jackson; W. L. Wilson of
Georgia; Alex Wilson of Louisville; Mrs. Vivian Allen of Vicksburg; 
Mrs. Veedie Watkins of Cullman, Ala; and Mrs. Mary Agnes Davis of
Dallas, Texas.

The body will lie in state at Welch Funeral Home until one hour before
the service.  Welch Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
