A. Z. Sanders Dies November 25, 1946 Funeral services for Mr. A. Z. Sanders, who died at his home on West Main November 25, were held November 27 with the Reverend Phil Grice Officiating. Burial was in the Odd Fellows Cemetery. He was 71. Mr. Sanders was born in Kosciusko October 20, 1876. When six years old he moved with his parents to Nebraska, but returned to Mississippi where he was married in 1901 to Miss Mattie Florence Mathews of Kosciusko. For 18 years Mr. and Mrs. Sanders made their home in Starkville where he was employed, with the old hardware firm of Yeates and Wallace. They __spent the next 30 years in Ansalmo, Nebraska and returned to Starkville where Mr. Sanders worked for four years at State College. He leaves his wife and two daughters, Mrs. Glenn Dawson of Pasadena, Calif., and Mrs. Christine Tompkins of Starkville. He is also survived by one brother, C. R. Sanders of Glendale, Calif.; three grandchildren, Mrs. Lennie Schuffler and Donald Dawson of Pasadena, Calif., and Marilyn Tompkins of Starkville. Pall bearers were H. H. Reynolds, L. M. Prichard, W.
