Scarbrough Rites Held  [03/02/1901-10/03/1970]

Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon for Wiley Nash
Scarbrough at Welch Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev.
Clayton Bath officiating.  Burial was in Craig Springs
Cemetery.  Masonic rites were held at the cemetery.

Mr. Scarbrough, 68, died Saturday at Felix Long Memorial
Hospital following a lengthy illness.  He was a member of
Emmanuel Baptist Church.  Walter W. Kennel Lodge #
F & AM, and a former Lions Club member in Texas.

Mr. Scarbrough is survived by his widow, Mrs. Geneva
Scarbrough, one daughter, Mrs. B. C. Sanford of Starkville,
and six sisters, Mrs. Irma Dear Terhume of Athens, Texas,
Mrs. Gracie O. Kelly of Sturgis, Mrs. E__ Johnson of
Memphis, Mrs. Viola A___ of Starkville; Mrs. Velma
Priscock of Starkville and Mrs. Bell Robinson of West Point.

He also leaves three brothers, Oscar Scarbrough and Charlie
Scarbrought of Sturgis, and J. J.Sullivan of Huntsville, Ala;
two grandchildren and one greatgrandchild.

Welch Funeral Home will be in charge of arrangements.
