A Starkville resident for 17 years, she moved here from Houston, Miss. She is survived by three sons, Thomas Willard Thrasher of Canyon, Texas; Everett Thrasher of Leland, and Charles Thrasher of Starkville; six daughters, Mrs. Frances Henderson, Mrs. Margaret Wade, Mrs. Nancy Bell, Mrs. Lucille Johnston and Mrs. Jeanette Bell, all of Starkville, and Mrs. Jean Hall of Memphis; three brothers, Aude Simmons of Pheba and Bill Staggs and Haney Staggs, both of Jackson; three sisters, Mrs. Maggie Sanders and Mrs. Beulah Stafford, both of Jackson and Mrs. Nannie Lee Stafford of Chicago; 35 grandchildren, 40 great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers. The body will be carried to the church at 9 a.m. to lie in state until time for the services.
