J. E. Wofford Died 04/11/1910 _____ J. E. Wofford a veteran citizen of Calhoun county, was buried in the Maben cemetery Tuesday. Mr. Wofford died at his home in Slate Springs early Monday morn- and the remains were accompa- nied to this place for interment. The funeral service was conducted from the home of C. L. Fondren at 10 o’clock Tuesday, Rev. A. C. Mason, of Slate Spring, officiating The deceased was a member of the Baptist church, and was highly es teemed as a citizen. He leaves a wife, and three daughters, -- Mrs. Fondren, of this place. Mrs. Law- son, of Louisville, and Mrs. Bar rett, of Atlanta, all of whom were with him in his last hours and at tended the funeral.
