Dec 25, 1937 sent in by Mary Whitaker Davis Mrs. T. D. Wooten Buried Sunday Local Woman Laid to Rest in Odd Fellows Cemetery Services were conducted Sunday afternoon December 26th, for Mrs. T. D. Wooten who passed away Saturday following a short illness. The Rev. Melville Johnson, pastor of the local Methodist church, was in charge. He was assisted by Dr. J. D. Ray, pastor of the First Baptist Church. Burial was in Odd Fellows Cemetery. Mrs. Wooten was a member of the Methodist Church. She was a native of this section. She leaves her husband, T.D.Wooten, Her father, Jim Lemmons of West Point; two brothers, Joe Lemmons of West Point, and Horace Lemmons of this county; and one sister, Mrs. J. W. Ford of Adaton.
