Rev. L. D. Worsham Dies After a long and eventful life, Rev. L. D. Worsham, pastor of the Methodist Church, died at his home here on Tuesday morning at 3 o'clock. His remains were interred at Pontotoc Wednesday. He had been sick for about two weeks but was able to be on the streets Saturday. That evening he was taken with congestion and was very ill until his death. The deceased was 63 years old and had spent about 43 years in the ministry, having served churches in Mississippi, Alabama, and Arkansas. He was a Confederate soldier during the first four years' conflict, and after the war entered the ministry, in which he continued until his death. He will be greatly missed by our people. A wife and daughter survive him. The Press extends the greatest sympathy to the bereaved ones in their hour of great trouble. MATHISTON PRESS Transcribed by C. L.
